Fillers can be used to sharpen flat nose
Fillers can be used to sharpen the appearance of a relatively flat and broad nose.  The results generally last about a year.  In terms of risk, the common ones are swelling and bruising after the procedure, but there is a risk of tissue death due to compression or injection into blood vessels especially when treating the root of the nose.  For this reason, careful technique is critical.
 

Non surgical rhinoplasty can be a great choice
Fillers use to shape the nose can improve the appearance of the nose.  The nasal tip definition is most accurately achieved with a surgical procedure to carefully sculpt the tissue in a reliable fashion. However, some patients can improve some tip appearance (e.g bifid tip) with a filler.
 

Fillers can help improve nasal contour
Fillers of any kind can be used to change the nasal shape. A "hump" can be smoothened, a bulbous tip can be sharpened, etc. There are many fillers that can be used for this purpose. The most commonly used filler is Radiesse. The second is a hyaluronic acid, like Juvederm Ultra Plus. I typically use Radiesse for this purpose.
