Non Surgical Nose Job - How Long Do the Results Last?
I am trying to decide if I should get a non surgical nose job or just bite the bullet and have a rhinoplasty. If I have to keep getting the non surgical nose job re-done every few months, I don't think it would be worth it because I'd end up paying just as much as I would for a rhinoplasty over time.
Does anyone know how long the results last for a non surgical nose job? Also, what if I don't like the results...can they be reversed?
Thanks.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty results can be permanent.
If your nose isn't too large, you would be surprised how much improvement you could achieve with an Injectable Filler treatment. In general, most Injectable Fillers last longer in your nose than in other areas where there's movement. I have over 10 years of experience with Silikon-1000 for permanent nasal enhancement. This needs to be administered only by physicians trained in the proper micro-droplet application. You can see some photos of Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty procedures. I hope this... more

You answered your own question.
Unless you have a tiny dent that can be corrected with injections of a filler, you should bite the bullet and have your nose done correctly. Seek advice from a well trained, qualified board certified plastic surgeon who does a lot of noses (such as myself) and have a full examination and get your questions answered. If a filler costs $1000 and is re done once a year , in less than 6 years the full rhinoplasty is paid for and is permanent.

Non Surgical Nose Job (Rhinoplasty) is a great choice
Non Surgical Rhinoplasty involves using fillers to sculpt and shape the nose. This may build a low bridge, camouflage a small hump, even add definition to some tips. It is a great option for patients who have already had a surgical rhinoplasty. The results usually last 6-9 months, depending on what type of filler is used. Some longer lasting results may be achieved with semi-permanent fillers like ArteFill. Non Surgical Rhinoplasty is a very specialized procedure... more

There Are Permanent Fillers for Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
One can choose between non-permanent and permanent. The veteran permanent filler is Silikon-1000, medical grade silicone, which is FDA-approved for use inside the eye to reposition a detached retina. However, a long-used, off label employment has been to " rescue" overdone rhinoplasties. This product has been used for over 50 years in the US for this purpose. Before you decide as to which filler to have, consider the " saline test". Sterile salt water can be... more

The non surgical Rhinoplasty is a procedure that describes using fillers like Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane or Radiesse in the nose to create a more attractive, natural shape. The results last as long as the filler stays in the nasal tissues. Restylane, Juvederm would last about 6-8 months, Perlane 8-9 months and Radiesse up to a year.

Fillers for the nose
I do not think that fillers are the best way to go for the majority of nasal concerns. It is certainly a good thing for minor touchups or defects. It will not improve a nasal hump for instance. The results will probably last 6-9 months maybe longer.

Surgery Vs. Non Surgery- Results differ significantly
The two procedures are very different and can not be compared. A rhinoplasty is an operation performed under anesthesia and is capable of altering many aspects if an undesirable nose. Non-surgical nose procedures are nothing but an injection of fillers in the office to correct indentations of the nose. These fillers are mainly Hyaluronic acids such as Restylane and Juvederm. They generally last up to a year and can be reverted earlier with enzymes if you are unhappy... more

Non-surgical nose job
Without pictures or examining you, it is impossible to know if you are a good candidate for a non-surgical rhinoplasty. In most cases, good candidates are those that do not need a reduction in the size of their nose. By injection fillers, the contour of the nose can be improved and the dorsum enhanced. Depending on the filler used, the results can last anywhere from six months to two years or more. Good luck.

Non surgical nose jobs last a year
My patients have maintained improvement for about a year when I have used Restylane to straighten out a crooked nose or hide a bump. Most have been satisfied with this safe and easy procedure once a year. If the results need to be reversed simple hyaluronidase injections will dissolve the filler.
Non Surgical Nose Job - How Long Do the Results Last?
The answer is simple, depending on the product you used. Hyauronic acids such as Restylane and Juvederm can last between 6 months to 2 years. Other products such as ArteFill, Sculptra, and Radiesse will be more permanent, however, I do not recommend them becauseof the high rate of complications associated with the use of these products as fillers in the nose.
Duration for the Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty
Depending on the dermal fillers used, a non surgical rhinoplasty will last generally a couple of years.
Non surgical rhinoplasty can be a good option
The most important aspect of this decision hinges on whether you have any structural nasal problems that affect the breathing. If this is the case a traditional surgical technique is the best option to fix the problem permanently and reshape the nose. Depending on the products, injectables can last 6-12 months. They are also useful for a person to "test drive" a rhinoplasty and see if they like the results.

Non-surgical nose jobs last 9-24 months
Non-surgical nose jobs last 9-24 months, depending on what product is used. It can actually be permanent if Artefill is used. It can only be reversed if a hyaluronic acid, such as Juvederm, Restyane or Perlane is used, as these products can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
Filler Injections are a great alternative for the right patient
Surgical rhinoplasty can achieve fantastic results for the right patient (usually patients that need a smaller nose). Non-surgical filler injection into the nose can also produce fantastic results for the right patient (usually patients that need a bigger nose). In my experience, filler injections can be quite long-lasting in the nose. I'm surprised to see other surgeons post nasal filler expectancy of a few months. Since there is very little movement of muscles in... more
Non surgical rhinoplasty doesnt last forever
It depends on the tissue filler used. Restylane and Juvederm are the shortest lasting, unless one injects saline. (this can be done to show a patient what the post operative results will look like.) They last 2 to 6 months. Usually a bit longer that elsewhere on the face as there isn't as much muscular movement causing the body to eat up the filler at a faster rate. Radiesse lasts a bit longer, 6 to 12 months. Artisense lasts the longest of the semi-permanent fillers. And finally there... more

Permanent non-surgical rhinoplasty
Not all nasal defects need to be corrected with traditional surgical rhinoplasty. Many defects, contour irregularities, or imperfections of the nose can be corrected with an injectable filler. We call this the Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty. In my practice, I only use liquid injectable silicone for this as it is permanent and the most precise. Silicone is ideal for this and gives great results. However, it must be injected by an experienced physician who uses the proper injection technique... more
Non-surgical nose job
The results of fillers for improvement of nasal contour is a simple yet specific treatment that can have results lasting from 6 months to 2 years depending on the filler chosen. The only reversible fillers are in the hyaluronic acid (HA) family all others will diminish over time but cannot be immediately reversed like the HA's. So if you are nervous try a HA filler that can be reversed. Only do these procedures with an injector who has extensive knowledge of the skin and underlying anatomy ! more

Longevity of non-surgical rhinoplasty
The longevity depends on the product and your metabolism. Non-surgical nose jobs can be performed with permanent fillers in which case the results (good or bad) can be permanent or with non-permanent fillers which can last any where from years to months. Botox is also occasionally used and lasts about 3-5 months. see video
Results are variable
Non surgical rhinoplasty relies on injecting temporary fillers into the nose to change the shape. It is not for everyone and does not address every concern about the nose. The length of time that the injectibles will last is dependent on the injectible used and patient factors which can not be determined. In general, I would think a nonsurgical rhinoplasty would last 6 months to a year before you need additional injections.
Non-surgical nose job options
Rhinoplasty without surgery is temporary. Treatments with injections must be repeated every few months. As with any procedure, there are many potential risks with non-surgical rhinoplasty too, which include but not limited to infection and skin damage. An alternative non-surgical nose job is done without any injections or surgery. It's done on the computer in the plastic surgeon's office. With computer simulation, one can see the potential results of rhinoplasty without pain or swelling... more
Depends what you're trying to achieve.
This depends a lot on what you're trying to achieve. Most of the time, patients are better served cosmetically and financially (over time) with a surgical rhinoplasty. There are exceptions--as usual--to this. For an isolated dent or low radix, for example, an injection of a filler has several benefits. The most obvious benefit is that the patient can "try it on" so to speak. If a hyaluronic acid gel filler such as Juvéderm is used, it can be dissolved within a matter of a... more
