Rhinoplasty Advice for a Natural-looking Yet Noticeable Result?
I'll be getting rhinoplasty, and I need advice on what to do to make it how I desire. I want a noticeable difference in my nose, but I don't want it looking artificial.
For the bridge, I want it to be narrowed so that from the front view it looks like it tapers into the tip (most narrow portion would be in the middle area). From the side view I want a very slight scoop or slope (right now, it has a slight hump). I want the nostrils narrowed slightly; I don't know what to do with the tip, should I have it slightly narrowed accordingly also?
I want to maintain the round appearance of my nose, I dont want a sharp or pinched nose. Would removing columella work? Look up Nick Jonas: that's the appearance Im looking for.

All noses should look natural after rhinoplasty. The tip should be narrowed slightly so it is proportional to the rest of the nasal structures. I would also narrow the base of your nose. During consultation, make sure you and your surgeon agree on what will change to clearly establish the goals of your operation.

The issues you describe can all be done with slight refinement of the tip without pinching. The tip would look a little to wide if not done due to the narrowing of the rest of the nose. See an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon and live patients that he has done to evaluate what you will be getting. It's one thing to say you do natural noses and another to actually do them!

The bridge of your nose should be narrowed with osteotomies so that there is a smooth transition from your medial eye brow to the tip of your nose. Your nasal tip will need to be refined so that it is proportionate to the rest of your nose. The best advice that I can give you regarding the wishes of your outcome for your rhinoplasty would be to make sure that you and your physician are on the same page and that he/she tries to achieve the result you are looking for. All of the changes you mentioned are certainly achievable and I would agree with them. However, not having other views of your nose I cannot say for certain but they seem reasonable.
